The Credit Recovery courses are set up to resemble the standard Lincoln Interactive classes. Students have access to all course content. The only required assignments in these courses are the Mid-Unit Quizzes, Unit Exams, and the Final Exam. Any additional assignment completed outside of the required will calculate into the overall score of the course.
Algebra I Part 2 introduces students to rational numbers, systems of equations and inequalities, exponential functions, factoring, and quadratic equations and functions. This course provides a solid foundation for further study in mathematics by helping students develop computational, procedural, and problem solving skills. Algebra I Part 2 emphasizes the use of technology, problem solving, critical thinking, and reasoning.
It is recommended that students successfully complete Algebra I Part 1 or equivalent course work before enrolling in this course.
