The Credit Recovery courses are set up to resemble the standard Lincoln Interactive classes. Students have access to all course content. The only required assignments in these courses are the Mid-Unit Quizzes, Unit Exams, and the Final Exam. Any additional assignment completed outside of the required will calculate into the overall score of the course.
Students in World History Part 1 will learn about the events, people, and places from the year 1500 A.D. to the contemporary world. They will learn about world history by exploring its relevance; by studying living history; and by identifying the significance of a person, place, or event. In this wide-ranging course, students will learn how the world and its inhabitants were shaped over time, and, in the process, will gain a better understanding of the role that geography plays in world history. The historical tools covered in this course will help students foster an appreciation for the history in which they are living. History is only useful if we study the past to learn for the future.
